If we look at it from a distance, we have the impression that social, political and economic processes are outside our psychic activity, our desires and our imagination. History is often seen as something beyond us, the struggle between large molar entities. The molecular revolution allows us to understand that in the great river of history what counts is the proliferation of innumerable micro-processes of interaction, of reciprocal influence, of uninterrupted mutation. It is only through molecules that the historical body can change.
